Football Fans,

Those following my advice for Week 05 would have lost the proverbial farm after picking Purdue to cover the spread last Saturday (I'm no Beano!). Only the Illinois defense can turn a 4th quarter blocked punt into a first down for the other team. Speaking of blocked punts, congratulations to Michigan for not lining up in that stupid punt formation and having one blocked when playing Iowa. Perhaps that will motivate Mr. Bowden to concentrate on special teams in practice this week, assuming he's not too busy searching for a quarterback. Big week looming in the SEC, as Arkansas visits Florida, Auburn travels to Tennessee, and LSU lines it up between the hedges at Georgia.
